Requirements to use Mobile Banking
- Internet Banking Access and Id and passcode are required
- Internet accessibility with your cell phone service provider has to be enabled.
Navigate to the mobile web browser to the following address: http://mobile.fsbwi.com (all phones and service providers are different, we cannot provide instructions on this, please consult your user manual for further assistance).
Suggestion: Save the url in your favorites or as a bookmark, for convenience.
Logging In
Use the same access ID and passcode you use to log in to Internet Banking from your PC and click Log in.
If you do not have an access ID yet, please contact First State Bank of Western Illinois.
If you see a "Login Failed" message when you try to log on. (See “Login Failed” messages below)
Features
Balances: View the available balances of all your online accounts.
History: View the activity in your account for the past 30 days.
Account Detail: View details of all of your online accounts.
Transaction Detail: View details of any transaction processed in the past 30 days.
Transfers: Transfer funds between enabled online accounts. Transfers made before 3:00 pm CDT are processed immediately. Transfers made after the Cut-off Time are processed the next business day.
Security
Mobile Banking features the same strong security as First State Bank of Western Illinois's Internet Banking. All information is securely encrypted. You can only log in from a mobile device with a browser that can connect securely.
The first few times you log in to Mobile Banking, you might be asked to answer a Security Verification Question.
If you ever see a warning when you log in that the security certificate does not match the host name, stop and contact First State Bank of Western Illinois.
Note: Customer Service never needs your passcode to assist you.
"Login Failed" Messages
Login failed. Please try again.
You might have mistyped your access ID or passcode. Try again. If you still see this message, contact First State Bank of Western Illinois for a temporary passcode. You must then log in to Internet Banking from a PC and reset your passcode before you can log in to Mobile Banking.
Your access has been disabled...
You have entered an incorrect Security Verification Answer or passcode too many times. Contact First State Bank of Western Illinois for a temporary passcode. You must then log in to Internet Banking from a PC and reset your passcode before you can log in to Mobile Banking.
You have attempted to log in using a temporary passcode...
Temporary passcodes do not work for Mobile Banking. Log in from a PC and reset your passcode before trying again.
The mobile browser doesn't support the required encryption...
The browser on your phone or other mobile device cannot connect to secure sites. Install a new browser or use a different device to log in.
Mobile banking requires the use of cookies...
The browser on your phone or other mobile device does not have cookies enabled. Check your manual to see how to enable cookies. Sometimes cookies are part of the security settings.
Quick Start
The bottom menu of Mobile Banking pages offers the following options:
Accounts: View list of online accounts and balances. Select a specific account to see Account History. Click the account number again to see Account Details.
Transfer: Transfer funds between enabled online accounts.
Log Off: Securely end your session and log out of Mobile Banking.
Help: Open this help page.
A menu link at the top left of every page jumps to the bottom menu.
Navigate Accounts: The Accounts page is the first page you see when you log in. Click an account name for Account History. Click the account name on the History page for Account Detail, or click a transaction in the History for the Transaction Detail.
Navigate Transfers: Click Transfers in the bottom menu. The transfer process takes four steps, each with its own page. Select the From account, select the To account, enter the amount, and confirm the transfer. At any point before you click Transfer Now, you can go back a page or cancel the transfer.
Accounts
The Accounts page lists all of your online accounts. For security purposes, full account numbers are not shown.
Links: Click an account name to view Account History.
Find: The Accounts page is the first page you see when you log in. To return to it from any other page, click Accounts on the bottom menu.
Available Balance
The Available Balance is the amount you can withdraw or transfer. It has been adjusted to include any recent unposted transactions or holds on your account balance.
Find: The Accounts page displays the Available Balance for each account. Other pages show the selected account's Available Balance.
Account History
The History page shows 30 days of transactions for the selected account. Credits are marked with a plus (+) and debits with a minus (-).
Use the scroll bar and the more>> and <<prev links to see all transactions.
Links: Click the account name for the Account Detail or click any transaction description for the Transaction Detail.
Find:
1. Click Accounts in the bottom menu.
The Accounts page appears.
2. Click the account name.
The History page appears.
Account Detail
The information on the Account Detail page varies depending on the services your financial institution offers and the type of account you view. Many account types display the following.
Account: Name of account owner.
Account #: Account type and number.
Available Balance: Amount you can withdraw or transfer, adjusted for any recent unposted transactions or holds.
Current Balance: Current balance (unadjusted).
As of: Date the account was opened.
Interest Paid This Year: Total interest paid so far this year.
Interest Paid Last Year: Total interest paid last year.
Balance Adjustment: Total recent unposted transactions or holds.
Links: Click the account name at the top of the page to return to History.
Find:
1. Click Accounts in the bottom menu.
The Accounts page appears.
2. Click the account name.
The History page appears.
3. Click the account name again.
The Account Detail page appears.
Transaction Detail
Date: Date the transaction was processed.
Amount: Credits are marked with a plus (+) and debits are marked with a minus (-).
Description: Type of transaction. Examples: Transfer (funds transferred to or from another account), Check, Visa Check Card Pmt (debit card payments).
Links: Click the account name at the top of the page to return to History.
Find:
1. Click Accounts in the bottom menu.
The Accounts page appears.
2. Click the account name.
The History page appears.
3. Click the transaction description.
The Transaction Detail page appears.
Transfer Funds
Transfers cannot be scheduled for a later date. Funds are transferred when you click Transfer Now on the last step of the transfer process.
Note: If you start a transfer after 3:00 pm CDT , the transfer is processed the next business day.
Transfer:
1. Click Transfer in the bottom menu.
The Transfer-From page appears.
2. Click the account to transfer from. All accounts that you can use are listed.
The Transfer-To page appears.
3. Click the account to transfer to. All accounts that you can use are listed.
The Transfer Amount page appears.
4. Use your keypad to enter the amount to transfer.
The Confirm Transfer page appears.
5. Review the transfer information. Click Transfer Now to immediately transfer the funds.
A confirmation page appears.
Note: At any time before you click Transfer Now, you can return to earlier pages and correct information by clicking <<Back , or return to the Accounts page without making a transfer by clicking Cancel .
